These unique sessions will offer intimate and unique sessions that will capture such things as the first baths, breastfeeding, meeting family members, first diaper changes, the precious looks as baby gets to know you, etc. Our pictures are shot in a lifestyle format which allows us to truly capture the essence of the moment. We stage nothing and strive to give you pictures where you forget that there was even a photographer there in the first place!
• The first 48 session takes place during daylight hours and within the first 48 hours of the baby being born. This session is for a hospital or birth center visit only.
• Lifestyle photography is similar to my birth photography. It is similar to the birth photography photos we've shot. We use natural or available light and the pictures are typically black and white or soft colored images.
• Includes all photographer selected images and the amount of images can range from 50-75 (possibly more).
• You receive the files within 2-3 weeks from the date of the session.
In a rush?
Your session images will be completed no more than 2 weeks after the date of the shoot. If you require the images to be completed prior to 2 weeks after the date of your shoot, a rush edit fee of $150.00 will be charged. Images are then accessible within 72 hours. The need for the rushed delivery MUST be disclosed at time of booking.

Kristin Sampson contacted Nikki one day in regards to newborn photography for her new baby girl. She wanted to incorporate her late mother in the shoot and Nikki had just the idea. The rest was history. The photo was shared by numerous mainstream social media pages and ended up becoming an article that was first published by ABC7news & Good Morning America. Then, Nikki was contacted and featured on Fox5 Good day DC to share the amazing story behind such a bittersweet picture. We were glad to be able to give such an amazing memory to the family and have since formed a bond that will last for many years to come!
